Kerri: I thought of you Pam this morning when our pastor taught Pr 14:25 A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies. Who have you delivered from what? You want to deliver people into the bondage of the RCC. My heart's desire is they find the freedom of trusting in Christ alone!

Kerri: Pam, I know what the RCC teaches is NOT supported by SCRIPTURE. I have never shown hatred to you and you are falsely accusing me to say I have. I suggest instead of getting angry at me for saying the truth you read the two posts here and consider them. The RCC won't teach the truth of what the Bible says about sin and how to deal with it.

Pam: Kerri, your hatred, ignorance, and bull-headedness is astounding. You should know about the church before you try to talk about it. (The Bible, too.) To anyone who wants to know what Catholics REALLY believe, ask a devout Catholic, not an anti-Catholic bigot. My blog link is attached. Ask me what I believe, why, and why I left Protestantism to go Home to Rome.

Kerri: Pam, I have read your new blog. As far as the Word of God - Yes, Jesus is the WORD of God, but the Bible is the written word of God. You can mock if you wish, but you will regret it one day. As far as the other nonsense it is RCC lies and propaganda.

This coming from someone who's beliefs only date back to the 17th century. History class, honey. Take it. I'll pay for it. The Word of God, Kerri, is CHRIST, not a version of the Bible created in 1611 and "authorized" by a homosexual.

Kerri: Pam, I suggest you pay more attention to the Word of God than traditions of man. Man did not give us the Bible - God did.

Pam: Kerri, I am Catholic, a memeber of the church that gave you that Bible that you wave around so flippantly. Futhermore, YOU could use some time in a history class ... and perhaps one on reputable journalism. Your links, like your preaching, are always in error ... full of lies and falsehoods. I will continue to pray for your misguided soul.

Kerri: Pam, quite honestly you could use some time under good Bible teaching instead of "talks" .

Pam: Kerri, the Steve Ray thing could be interested. I often frequent talks by apologeticists just to hear what they have to say ... at the very least it keeps the old grey matter working. :D

greg : Kerri the million steps are simple. The Trans Canada Trail web page has a virtual map of the trail across Canada and when you sign up you can log your kilometers or steps that you walk each day and the trail is highlighted for the amount you would have covered had you been walking the actual trail. Nice to see how far you have gone. I am a step counter and so far have walked from Victoria past Chilliwack alongthe Virtual trail Greg

A Memorial Day Thanks

Tomorrow is the day that has been set aside for us to celebrate Memorial Day. The original day was May 30th (I was born on that day), but in desire for three day weekends several holidays have been moved to Monday's. Whatever day it is set - let us remember to think on the reason for the day. It is nice to have a holiday and spend it with family, but remember we have the freedom we have because of the sacrifices of many men and women before us.

Freedom isn't free - it was bought with blood and that price will have to be paid again and again for our country to stay free. Remember our soldiers that serve in prayer and our leaders that they will make right choices for our country. If our country doesn't turn back to God and righteousness we will pay a high price!

One day there will be true world wide peace, but it will never come through man's efforts. It will come when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to this earth and rules from His throne. He is the Prince of Peace.

Meanwhile each of us can have personal peace with God through the sacrifice that Jesus made. He died and rose again that we might be saved. His blood was shed that we could be free from sin. If we will trust the Lord Jesus Christ alone as our Saviour and not our works, then His blood will wash away our sin and we will have peace with God.

So on Memorial Day take time to think of the soldiers' sacrifice and offer a prayer of thanks to God for our country's freedom it bought, but also make sure you have received the gift of salvation that the Saviour, our Lord Jesus Christ bought with His blood - it will give you peace and true freedom that can never be lost!
